We will present a variety of climate action stories as told through the lens of courage and hope using the arts of dance and storytelling. The event will include a short dance piece (15 minutes) on the topic of Climate Action, followed by a reflection and a Q&A with the Artistic Director, as well as a Storytelling Panel with stories of Hope in Action on the topic of Climate which will be followed by a shared discussion and Q&A with the Panelists. The JPIC Core Committee has developed a new way to present its annual Framework of Priorites and Action Plan. A Diagram now captures our work in imagery to better facilitate an understanding of what we do. The JPIC 2012-13 Action Plan is closely linked to that of the CND Social Justice Network and is inviting us to adopt eco-justice as the lens through which we approach all of our work.
